About
The Awkward Guests companion app has several more cases in addition to the cases included with the game. The companion app allows players to enter their solution to the case into the app and find out if they are right or wrong. If one or more players have guessed the correct solution to the case, they win the game. If a player is incorrect, they cannot guess a solution on their next turn but can continue to play the game - the solution is not revealed. When playing without the app, players must examine the solution in the rulebook to determine if they are right or wrong, and players who guess the wrong solution are eliminated from the game. The app is required when playing the game Solo.
