About

In the wake of the Voidfall and the treachery of House Novarchon, Corruption swept through Domineum like a relentless plague, twisting the once-glorious galactic empire into a mindless puppet of the Voidborn. As the Great Houses of the fringe worlds desperately fought back in a war that dragged on for decades, a spark of hope began to flicker. Some individuals, thought to be forever lost to the Voidborn, inexplicably began to awaken, regaining fragments of their former selves. Though their bodies still bore the scars of Corruption, they learned to suppress the Voidborn's control and tap into its psychic powers without succumbing to madness. As these Psionics rise across the Domineum, wielding their minds as humanity's most formidable weapon, the tides of the endless war may finally begin to turn. Voidfall: Resurgence, the first expansion to Voidfall, introduces a new concept to the game: 'Psionics'. With a new type of Agenda deck, Psionic Agendas, you will be able to harness powerful, re-usable abilities, opening up new strategies and ways to customize your House. The single-use Psionic Combat tokens allow you to launch Psionic Strikes or raise Barriers, potentially changing the course of key fights, while deploying the psionic Vanguards to key sectors allows you to take on greater risks for even greater rewards. Besides Psionics, the expansion adds a host of new content to the game: six new Houses, (three of which lean heavily into the new Psionics mechanic), twelve new Technologies (introducing new game concepts, a new Fleet type, a new Installation type, and a new Guild type), new Special Sector types and scenarios, improvements and additions to the Cooperative mode, and much more. —description from the publisher
