Discordant Stars is an unofficial community-made expansion for Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition, created to be compliant with the Asmodee guidelines on community usage of TI4 Intellectual property. Discordant Stars initially contained 24 playable factions but now includes an additional 10 factions that were finalized in August of 2023. All 34 Discordant Stars factions have been extensively tested with each other and the 25 official factions. This expansion is designed to be seamlessly integrated into games of Twilight Imperium Fourth Edition with very little additional rules overhead, though the Prophecy of Kings expansion is required to play Discordant Stars.
