Synopsis:

Jin Kinoshita spent the following eight years of his life in the shadow of the day he desperately hoped would not come to pass... The death of his best friend. Slaving for minimum wage at a rundown fast food restaurant to barely be able to pay rent, Jin's dream of becoming a professional artist died a slow death. Completely devoid of purpose, Jin allowed all of his talent to slip away from him like sand in an open palm. The early October rain washed up a flood of memories into the forefront of Jin's mind. With encouragement from a past he had tried to forget, he resolved to take a chance on his dream once more. In the process of picking up the pieces of his life, spurred on by friends both old and new, they all decide tread the waist deep water together through their journey to recovery.
